A Great Play for Halloween!

(Two men, two women; one set.)

An intense storm rages outside, echoing through the stately parlor and interrupting the Westchester’s rancorous quarreling. Unexpectedly, Elizabeth dashes in and shelters herself in her brother’s arms as she cries out in terror, “Thomas, help me! I saw him! I saw him again in the hallway outside my door!”

Thomas’ wife, Kathleen, convinced the girl is insane, replies cynically that it was undoubtedly the ghost of their murdered great-grandfather looking for his missing skull—which sits gleaming on the fireplace mantel!

As Thomas protests Kathleen’s callousness, the parlor doors are suddenly thrown open to reveal the hunched and frightening figure of a headless man! Is this a visitor from the outer regions seeking revenge? A macabre plot to drive them all mad? Or something even more diabolical?

Sustained suspense highlights this tense and exciting exposition of fear, guilt, and betrayal!
